What we do

We connect Tulsa-area homeowners with independent, licensed local plumbing contractors for free, no-obligation quotes. The plumber you choose quotes, pulls any permit, and does the work directly with you.

You tell us what is going on, whether that is a dripping water heater, a slab you think is leaking, a kitchen drain that keeps backing up or a sewer line you suspect has roots in it. We pass the request to independent plumbing contractors who serve your part of the Tulsa area, and they contact you to talk through the job and give you a price. The request is free, and you are never obliged to hire anyone.

The step-by-step version is on the how it works page.

What we are not

Tulsa Plumbing Pros is not a plumbing contractor, does not perform plumbing work, and holds no Oklahoma plumbing license. Each contractor is responsible for its own licensing, permits, insurance, pricing and work.

Tulsa Plumbing Pros is an independent quote service and is not affiliated with any plumbing company of a similar name.

Oklahoma takes plumbing licensing seriously. State law (59 O.S. §1012(b)) and the Construction Industries Board's rules make it a misdemeanor to offer plumbing work "by advertisement or otherwise" without a plumbing contractor license. That is why this site never describes plumbing work as something we do, never shows a license number, and never quotes a price as our own. Every price on the site is a typical range from published cost guides, and the contractor you choose sets the real price. This is general information, not legal advice.

Before you hire: the checklist

Whoever you hire, whether you found them here or anywhere else, these five checks take a few minutes and protect you:

  • Ask for the contractor's Oklahoma plumbing contractor license number. Oklahoma rules require it on contractors' ads, bids and contracts, with "OK" in front of it on both sides of work vehicles (OAC 158:30-5-3).
  • Look it up on the Construction Industries Board's "Are They Licensed?" page.
  • Ask whether they are registered with your city (Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Owasso…). State law (59 O.S. §1020) requires it. Ask whether they will pull the permit.
  • Get the price in writing before work starts.
  • Smell gas? Leave the house first, then call 911 and Oklahoma Natural Gas at 800-458-4251.

The guide to checking an Oklahoma plumber license walks through the lookup step by step.

Why the site has so much local information

Most plumbing pages for Tulsa are directories that say little about the city itself. We try to answer the questions homeowners actually search: what a plumber costs, when a permit is needed, who owns the sewer line, and what to do when pipes freeze. We use public sources, including the City of Tulsa, the Construction Industries Board, Oklahoma Natural Gas, NOAA and the National Weather Service, the U.S. Department of Energy, the EPA and the Census Bureau's American Community Survey. Tulsa's housing is older than many people expect: the ACS 2024 5-year estimates put the city's median home at 1973, with 64.9% of homes built before 1980. Older homes may still have original drain and supply lines, which a plumber can check with a camera inspection.

Areas served

Quote requests are welcome from Tulsa and nearby cities: Owasso, Broken Arrow, Sand Springs, Bixby, Sapulpa and Jenks. The service areas page lists what is different about each one.

Your information

When you send the quote form, we use your details to pass your request to local plumbing contractors so they can contact you. The privacy policy explains how form data and site analytics are handled.

What we will not show you

You will not find reviews, star ratings, awards or project photos on this site, because we do not do the work. Images are illustrations. When a contractor contacts you, ask them for their own references and their Oklahoma license number.
